Aoxun Louvered Pergola 10x10 All-Aluminum

Click to play video I love this pergola. It is just what I was looking for. It provides a lot of shade, I can use the crank to get sun, and I can sit under it in the rain because of the drainage system. It comes in 4 large boxes. I hired a company from Thumbtack to install it for me. The men took about 3 1/2 hours to install it (from reading the instructions to bolting it in the existing concrete slab). They said this pergola was one of the simplest ones that they have installed. I have gotten many compliments on the pergola because people find the curtains to be a nice touch. I live in a townhouse so the curtains provide extra privacy. Overall, it is sturdy and I am enjoying it so far!

The finished product is amazing. It’s a great addition to the yard. It functions as advertised and is easy to operate. I will be using the patio daily now that it is covered. My only wish is that the instructions were a bit more clear and concise. They are just pictures that can be hard to read. I had to redo the slats in the roof because the pictures were not as clear as expected. But once I was able to understand what the picture was instructing, the mistake was easily fixed, and fixed fast. Make sure you have at least one other person to help put it together and it will go smoothly!!

We love our new pergola. During the winter, we open the lovers to keep the snow from building up. Need to keep the louvre tilting mechanisms clean from leaves and other debris, but haven’t had a problem. The joints in the main roof supports aren’t water tight, so we might get dripped on during mild rain. I didn’t assemble, so not sure how complex it was to build. Hung some lights on it and it is nice at night.

We’re really happy with how this pergola turned out. It feels sturdy once everything is put together, and the aluminum frame gives it a nice, solid feel. Installation took some time, but we followed the installation video and everything went pretty smoothly. The finished pergola looks great on our patio and gives us a comfortable space to sit outside. The curtains are also a nice touch when we want a little more privacy.

The aluminum frame feels strong and much more substantial than I expected. The 3. 8" posts make a big difference, and I like that I don’t have to worry about rust. The gutters also work well when it rains.

Excellent product. Instructions were good but it does take a little concentration and observation to get them to fit correctly. This was a full 10 hours over 2 days with help. Totally worth it!! It works great and customer service was amazing. I was missing 2 small parts and they were able to send my way.

Installed this near our pool and it completely changed the space. The clean aluminum finish looks modern, and the louvers make relaxing outside much more comfortable.

We’ve been enjoying this pergola almost every weekend. The curtains and mesh keep the space more comfortable during summer nights, and the adjustable louvers help us find the perfect balance between sunlight and shade.

Overall pergola is sturdy and looks nice on our patio. Instructions like others mentioned are very unnecessarily confusing at parts, but most of the steps there is only one way parts fit so you can figure it out. The instructions also mention needing an 8mm drill bit, (5/16”), but that is incorrect and the anchors we got required a 3/8” bit and worked fine. Customer support is very slow to respond, I’m still waiting for them to confirm the drill bit size (it’s been over 2 weeks now). Debated going to 2 stars but product itself so far seems solid. Couple very minor dents on a couple pieces too.

This pergola gave us the outdoor area we were looking for. It looks modern and does not require much maintenance compared with our old outdoor furniture. The mesh netting is nice for summer nights, and the curtains give us more privacy when needed.

We have been using this for family dinners and weekend gatherings. The separate louver sections are convenient since one side can be open while the other stays shaded. The drainage design is also helpful after rain. Overall, it makes our backyard much more enjoyable.

We really like how this pergola turned out. However, it is a NIGHTMARE to assemble. This really should be noted in the advertisement. It really needs to recommend you hire a professional to assemble the NUMEROUS pieces involved.

We love the pergola, and Purple Leaf has the best customer service. They very helpful and quick to respond to questions. I purchased a gazebo and a pergola from them through Amazon. I highly recommend this company and their products.

Happy with the shipping and product, though a couple of the beams had some dents upon arrival.

The engineers put alot of thought into this unit and its very sturdy. Assembled over our hot tub and anchored it into the concrete patio. Everything works as should. Would recommend building as much of the structure as possible before moving it to your area.

Highly reccomend but you need power tools to install our it's a two day job 2hours with electric tools

We really like this Pergola. Fairly easy to assemble and looks fantastic. The aluminum is a little soft so that is why I gave it a 4 star and not 5. I did a lot of research I feel this a great pergola for the money.

Very good quality. Material is solid and very attractive looking. Assembly instructions are accurate.

So this went together pretty easy with my son helping me as it takes two to make things go. Packages came well done with no damage to anything. Here is one bit of help…. . the directions are in box 6 and no one tells you this. So it appears that quality is good BUT the Allen head screws are soft and will spin out and strip if you are not extremely careful. There is little in the way of spelled out directions just basically pictures. The web page said it could handle 10 inches of snow but the directions in the box say no more than 2 inches. We have had little snow this year which is why this project didn’t wait for spring so will see how it goes but it appears to be a good buy in general UPDATE 1/24/26 So wanted to express my thanks to customer service and what better way than to do it here. I have no idea what happened but one of the middle supports broke. I was surprised as the supports are well made and stout so no clue. I was thinking oh damn this isnt gonna go well but I emailed customer service with the pictures and held on to see what would happen. Customer service was on the job and within a day they said I was within warranty and they would send the part. Well just a couple days later true to their word here came the delivery driver and a replacement post. I would give more stars than 5 on this if I could.

This pergola is awsome, no assembly issues but 4 people working together got this up quick. Just do as much pre- assembly as you can. It took us about half hour to stand it up then about 2 hours to finish it. This is totally worth it

Love my 12x20 pergola. Went together easy. Better quality than I thought it would be.

I was very impressed with the packaging, build quality, and ease of assembly. Seems very sturdy. Hopefully it will hold up very well to the elements. I will probably end up buying more because they look and function great.

This pergola is a great addition to our deck! We can finally use it during the day in the hot Florida sun. We had it installed the Saturday before Milton came barreling through our area. We were a bit concerned it wouldn’t withstand hurricane force winds. We did have it bolted to the deck and added support ties in preparation for the storm. We experienced 80 mph gusts and sustained winds of 60-70 mph! The pergola didn’t budge. It is built well, sturdy and on a scale of 1-10 about a 5 in difficulty for the installation. Mostly due to the amount of parts and an occasional mis-alignment in the screw holes. Customer service was quick to respond to my questions, which was appreciated. If you are on the fence about buying this product, I hope our experience pushes you over the fence and into your cart:blush:

Product came with missing parts. Lucky that they are not the most essential that prevent the assembly to be completed. 09/30/24 Update: We notified the vendor concerned the missing parts. And we received prompt responses. And subsequently the missing parts came promptly. Thank you. It was great of doing business with a very responsible company.

Juts bought this Pergola and installed it today. It looks beautiful and the material seems to be really high quality none of that cheap net or light metal. Not to mention it was super easy to install too. It’s very functional for hot sunny days because you’re able to open up the roof and close it too. It’s also functional for rainy weather because it can keep everything dry which is amazing great since I have furniture placed inside already. The build seems very durable and stable so no complaints there. I would highly suggest buying this if you’re wanting to buy something aesthetic and modern, and something to fill up your back yard!
