Well packaged with padded ends and corner. Taped over strapped box. Other companies should learn from them to limit damage & returns. Leveling the ground will make for easy installation, as recommended. Solid structure, stainless steel screws, easy to follow instructions. Total of 4 boxes, we used dolly to move boxes. Start layout with box 1&2, will need steel plates for connecting frame support in box 3. Two senior couple put this together, but need a third person to hold the initial posts and frame up, so much took less than 30 minutes. The louvres are super ez to install. Takes 8 hours stretch over 2 days because of over 100 temperature. Highly recommend this pergola. Should do very well in the AZ heat.
