Very nice. Real wood and very sturdy. Love it.
Well built easy assembly good quality
Great addition to the bar b que island. Feels sturdy. It did take a while to assemble but out of 8 boxes, not one piece was missing or damaged. The provided instructions were okay but watching a video or two just to pick up some tips didn’t hurt. Overall we are very pleased with the purchase.
This is a very nice looking gazebo. It was a lot to get up. 4 of us 9 hours and 2 of us another 3 hours. So many parts! Not the best instructions. I'm now working on mosquito proofing. pretty tricky with the vent and currogated metal but I'll get it. Good for the price. Definitely bolt it down. we used concrete piers and dug them into the grass.
the gazebo turned out great, but when putting it together there was 6 screws and 6 washers missing that we had to go to the store to get. unsure if it was a brand packaging issue or an amazon shipping issue.

Ehhh. . Not bad for the price. . I ordered 10x12. It is definitely not 10x12, misleadingly advertised and I do not know why nobody comments on this . From the outside of the post it's 10 ft x10 in by 8 ft x 10 in. Even with the roof overhang it falls far short on the 12' side. They measure to the extreme leading outside edges. . Everything was labeled very well both the wood, metal pieces and hardware. They give you a small bag of extra bolts but was still short on a few screws. The instructions aren't bad just pictures with exploded views at some point they're just hard to make out. With some head scratch it can be figured out. Did it completely by myself and it took 2 days.
We love it now that it’s put together! Direction were a bit difficult and assistance was necessary. Definitely not a one person job.
It looks good! But honestly the roof is really thin and it's difficult to see it last long term. Also, the manufacturer allegedly says 3. 5 hours to build. That is completely wrong. It took us ~ 12 hours roughly. That was with 3 people.
Having at least two people to assemble is preferable. Instructions were very intuitive. Once put together, seemed very sturdy. The wood and metal had good weight to it, good quality material. Worth the price point, and a nice gazebo once assembled. Plan to put this by our back porch.
We’re really happy with this gazebo! It was exactly what we needed for our pool area. The wood gives it a really nice look, and the metal roof feels much sturdier than the fabric canopies we looked at. It adds a lot of shade and makes the space feel much more comfortable. Once we bolted it down to our concrete patio, it felt very secure. The roof drains the rain well, and everything underneath stayed dry. Overall, this was a great purchase. It looks nice, feels well made, and we're looking forward to using it all summer. I'd definitely recommend it!
Easy to assemble you just gotta make sure you read the directions right and take your time. Do not screw the post anchors until you finish. That way you’ll have exact measurements of everything.
Great product. My wife and I put together over two days. Had about 90% put together after day 1. Overall pretty easy to follow the directions and put together as a team. Only gave 4 stars because the size LL bolts did not fit any of my sockets at home or the wrench that was provided - major pain during installation. We will see when winter comes but so far we love this thing. The posts are a true 4” x 4” seems very sturdy when bolted to concrete patio. Thanks for the fast shipping.
Installing this has truly enhanced the enjoyment of our yard; it’s incredibly pleasant to sit underneath, sipping tea and chatting in the afternoons. We don’t have to worry about getting wet when it rains, and it provides welcome shade on hot days, making it much more convenient for the family and kids to spend time outdoors. It looks beautiful, is solidly built, and was easy to install following the instructions—we are very satisfied with it. The quality is exceptional.
The post are square, not hollow and are made of cedar. The cross boards are double stacked and screwed together. Brackets are thicker than expected. Instructions are somewhat confusing during roof assembly, because the drawings are top down and I purchased the double roof. It took 2 mechanics (with multiple ladders, 2 impacts and assorted hand tools) 12 HOURS to build this. Unboxing took at least 30 mins alone, because all pieces are individually wrapped. You need a hammer drill and masonry bit for the concrete anchors. 11/16, 10mm, #2 Phillips and 5mm Allen/Hex for fasteners. Highly recommend drill/impact, especially for lag screws. Included hammer not useful. 2 A-frame ladders help a lot. Roof assembly is difficult and tedious. Highly recommend you leave hardware loose on roof panel install, until most pieces are placed. You will need to shift panels for proper overlap. Things to keep in mind during assembly: There are brackets to cover cross boards overlaps and corner sections. (Mine did not get installed ) 10mm fasteners are slightly over-sized on head, and easy to round off. Fasteners snap easily, do not over torque. If holes don’t line up, push/pull on rails to line it up. For lower roof panels we had to install top fasteners first and then force the panels into the lower rail for lower fasteners. Roof supports on cross boards are not initially screwed down per instructions. Ensure you screw them down before installing roof panels.
Solid wood pillars, even cheaper than buy raw materials in Home Depot then DIY. Let see how it go in summer
Pretty we'll built and what you'd expect for the price point. Little cumbersome to assemble, but again once you get it together its pretty sweet. Unbox everything and lay all your pieces out. . it will take you nearly a full day to assemble, depending on how many beers you've had. . the wood is nice, I plan to polyurethane all the wood for extra longevity. You might consider polyurethane before you assemble? That was an afterthought for me. . otherwise very nice gazebo for the price!! Pic is unfinished, still have to install the gutters. I. E. beers. Hahaha
Instructions say it takes 3 people 3. 5 hrs to assemble. We did 2 people and took 10 hrs. The average person would have a hard time putting it together. We were missing a few “LL screws”, but other than that, the quality was higher than expected and love the hard top.
Surprisingly impressed! Product arrived in three large separate boxes, one of which broke open during shipping but no damage to any of the components. Assembly is pretty straightforward if you have experience building things like this. The instructions were also easy to work off of. All parts and pieces are generally well-packed and organized which was pleasantly surprising. I built it by myself which took me about 12-14 hours total. My only complaint would be the images Amazon provides of the product. Other reviews have mentioned their misleading nature but the images are highly embellished and depict what appear to be 6x6 or 6x4 posts. This gazebo features 4x4 posts. Otherwise, for half the cost of the Costco gazebo, it's well worth it and does look nice when assembled. If I could provide a few tips/observations it would be this: Tip 1: After you've built the wood frame, roof system subframe, and begin attaching the roof panels, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND leaving the bolts that hold down the roof panels loose in order to get the wood screws to properly line up with the groove in the top of the wood rails. If the roof panels are tight and the frame isn't perfectly square down on the ground, you will have issues getting everything to line up correctly. TIP 2: There is a hardware bag that contains 122 metric bolts used for the roof subframe, roof panels, and various other trim pieces. They do not come with thread locker from the manufacturer. Time will tell if exposure to temperature fluctuations will cause these bolts to loosen but it might be wise to apply a little blue Locktite to each. TIP 3: There are two hook-style screws that attach underneath the roof that hold down the roof cap. You will need to get a couple 1/4" washers to add to them in order to really cinch down the top cap. The pre-drilled holes underneath are larger than the diameter of the screw keeping them from being able to tighten down the roof cap. The washers fix that. TIP 4: Lastly, I would recommend pre-drilling holes for the screws that attach the base plates to the post bottoms as well as the mounts that get affixed to the top of the posts supporting the roof system subframe. The wood posts are pretty soft and I'm sure as they dry, there could be a chance of splitting if those holes aren't pre-drilled.
Sturdy and worth the money. The instructions state that it only takes 3 hrs to build. I am very good at my own projects and it took me 3 days…
Nice unit, assembly was a bit challenging as I assembled it with very limited assistance. This gazebo is replacing a redwood gazebo which was 6 months short of 21 years old. Only time will tell if this unit can withstand the test of time. Loving it right now though !!
I WAS ABLE TO ASSEMBLE BY MYSELF IN 5 DAYS DEFINITELY COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH EASIER WITH 2 OR 3 PEOPLE DURING UPPER FRAMEWORK. Had to wait a week for replacement posts were split cracked at base after multiple text photos description of issue mfr sent replacements. Donot use the mounting fasteners for concrete they are cheap gr 2 broke off had to redrill plates installed red head gr5 3/8" ×2. 75 hammer drill and bit . The post is very close to the plate holes making drilling difficult might be able to layout holes drill prior to post mount . You need a 10ft freestanding ladder for upper framework and sheeting . It is pretty solid after roof sheeting and anchoring .
Very nice. Real wood and very sturdy. Love it.
