Aoxun 20x12 Lean-to Gazebo

I am absolutely thrilled with my new canopy! This has turned our drab deck into what feels like poolside cabana and has really exceeded my expectations as far as quality. This really made the space look elegant and I can’t stop saying how nice our patio feels now. We previously had folding 10x10 pop up for years we just replace every season. We had bought our folding pop up to start the season and an overnight storm destroyed it the next day. I was shopping around for a new permanent durable solution but 500 dollars was not in my budget at this time. I came across this canopy and liked the price and the reviews were not bad so I decided to give it a try. My previous 10x10 pop up was not big enough to cover us from the elements and having to take it up and down anticipating the weather plus 50 bucks every year out the window I decided enough is enough. I measured out the space and decided on the 10x12. It fit perfectly under my gutters up against the house so there is no gap from the house to the end of the porch and we don’t get wet anymore. I love sitting out back in the rain and it just feels so nice. I love this space now so much that even when it’s 100 degrees I find myself still wanting to be outdoors as it shades the entire porch now. It took me and my sister and hour to assemble. I felt the directions were simple and set up was a breeze. Now the big question everyone is dying to know… is it durable? YES! and that is the reason I gave 5 stars. We have severe thunderstorms very often and just 2 nights ago we had a bad storm with damaging winds knocking out power and downed trees and lines all over town. I got woke up by a crack of thunder and I heard strong winds whipping around hard rain pounding our roof. I thought oh man there goes our canopy. To my surprise when I woke up the next morning our canopy was still standing in tact. I was thrilled and decided to write this review and share my experience. It comes with hardware screws to bolt it down if you want it to be permanent but it’s light enough for 2 people to move it if you prefer. I would suggest bolting it down for a permanent fixture. We did not end up using the bolts that it came with to secure it to the ground. We used heavy duty wood screw bolts and drove them into our deck. We also purchased separately the 2in brackets you see in the photo which I felt was a good way to secure it to our deck so it wouldn’t rip out of the deck or twist or bend the poles in the wind. This stood strong in the wind test and I am very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of our new canopy. I think the fabric that covers it will well made too although I would like to see if they sell replacement tops for this as we also get hail storms. We will see in the days to come how it holds up to the elements but so far I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for quick cover from the elements. Bonus…. it helps keep our house cooler now too as it shads our back door where a lot of heat used to come in.

We LOVE it! However I will add you had better be handy like my husband and son who are good at pipe bending as a few were dented and didn’t want to slide together. We got it done though. For whomever said this is a 30 minute job you must have had a village because this took us about 2 hours with three people. Love love love the outcome however!

This lean-to gazebo is very well made and sturdy. Assembly started out challenging when I was using the 2 little flimsy wrenches that came with the product. I was getting a little frustrated, but once I dug through my tools and found two 9/16 inch wrenches of my own, then the rest was pretty much a breeze! One of my wrenches had the little ratchet thing in it and that sped things up a lot! Assembling the top of the frame with all the bolts, washers, and nuts is the most time-consuming part. Attaching the legs is easy, they actually twist in. You do have to pay close attention to assemble the 4 top corners in the proper place, as shown in the pictures, because the angle is different for the front legs versus the back legs. On my first attempt at putting on the legs I had them backwards and quickly realized that! One I swapped them around everything was great! The instructions were not very helpful except for the diagram showing where each bar goes for assembling the top. Putting the bungee cords on was easy and a lot of fun actually!

It was easy to put together. We did have to extend the front poles due to grading. The heat has been extreme this summer and my son has greatly appreciated the protection.

This is a full large 10 x 12 canopy and gives shade underneath. The fabric quality is great blocking the sun. The manual shows steps with the pieces labeled by letters. Following the images, if was easy to assemble in about an hour. I installed this in the backyard and looks professional.

This pergola has been such a great asset to our permanent RV site. It works great by keeping the swing area shaded and comfortable. It was easy to install and of great quality.

Need 3 peoole , 2 to hold up and 1 to Put on legs -attach material to poles first) if you secure it down properly you will be fine -but put it away with summer furniture until next year. It would never make it through a winter in New England!

Item was very easy to assemble and although I thought the metal parts would make it heavy it was easy to carry and lift into place, although it took two to do it because of its size. Everything was there including the sinker bolts to hold it to the cement. I highly recommend this product. I did rain the rain bulging and had to push up to dump the water but I reminded that by hanging a light at the lowest part in the center. See attached picture!

Definitely a great Product! Solved my well needed shade issues. . . . easy to assemble. . . very sturdy. . . . I bought 2 originally. . . . installed them and decited to purchase 1 more for a grilling area as well . . . . definitely recommend this product . . . very pleased!!! Thank you !!!

Ngl it was way better quality than I expected, especially the canopy tarp itself. It took two of us to put together but a clever fella could rig it himself I reckon.

Within two days, this took the temperature of my mobile home down by 8°. We had 105° and I have no shade. After spending time comparing and choosing, I decided on this one and I’m very happy with my purchase. I would definitely buy this again. very easy, nice looking and sturdy and definitely does the job. It can be bolted to the house or you can bolt it to the ground. every night I don’t have to wait for the temperature to decrease in the mobile home which people who own one know how that can be. well worth it.

We used this for our BBQ area to keep the hubby cool while making great food. 100% worth the money. Easy to assemble. Love it.

It's good, it's big and clean looking. If you have wind you'll definitely need weight to hold it down or use concrete bolts to drill in place. Overall nice easy piece

easy to assemble. decent quality. but they gave the wrong corner pieces for the legs. . they're not evenly straight going down. . . . i followed their instructions. I thought it was labelled wrong too so i tried swapping the corner pieces around. . still not straight down. I think they either gave the wrong pieces or they made it wrong. . One of the tubing insert was bent too. . I had to try to bend it back out so i can stick it in. The legs not being straight is just like the other buyers reviews

Water resistance is very good. ease of use. quality is perfect . very good material. Stability is good. Perfect size for my backyard

Great product! Instructions are sketchy but we eventually figured it out. We use it for shade next to our converted utility trailer or our car hauler. They both have rear ramps, so we only have to remove the legs and it will easily fit inside. Sturdy construction, much more rigid than an easy-up.

easy to put together and provides good shade, we shall see it’s wind fast-ness. thinking of purchasing more for my livestock for a quick and affordable shade shelter if this one holds up well

This worked well for my purpose. . . I removed the taller legs and anchored it to a house wall. Makes it very sturdy. I would think it wouldn't be sturdy enough free-standing. Easy to put together and the top material seems great. The longer runs of the frame tend to bend a bit at the joints, so not perfect, but for the money I'm very satisfied.
