Does a good job, but not really a freestanding unit. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU ARE HANDY!

This does a great job of keeping the rain off in a typical shower, very impressive in its performance. I would caution you though that if you don’t attach it to a permanent fixture it is wobbly. We fix it to the house with heavy metal brackets I bought. I put corner braces on as well. I did not use the cement bolts included I upgraded those. Two other things though, we had a bent fascia piece I would not have been able to use if we didn’t hide it by putting against the house. We also had a broken louvre control piece that I had to manufacture myself. I tried unsuccessfully many many times to call the company. No answer and never a call back. They have NO customer service!

Pretty easy assembly

Went together seamlessly. No issues getting it up in a matter of a few hours. Only needed my son’s help for 2 parts other than that it can be a one man crew. Louvers work great. Will update after some rain to give feedback on that.
