Aoxun 6' x 4' Metal Storage Shed, Brown

I purchased this shed to store my yard tools and equipment, and overall, I’m very happy with it. The shed itself is pretty sturdy, and the instructions were well thought out and very easy to follow. The only issue I had was with the F1 screws. If you use a power tool, it’s very easy to overtighten them and strip or damage the thin metal. The screws can also slip, so I recommend tightening them very lightly and carefully to avoid wearing out the metal panels. Other than that, it’s a great small shed that does the job well and keeps my tools safe and organized. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase.

The shed I received is an awesome shed! It just withstood 63 mph winds from a storm that came through. Sturdy. Easy to assemble.

If you are good at Legos then it is easy to put together. The metal overall is not super thick and must be assembled and screwed together with caution. About 95% of the holes lined up, pay careful attention to the assembly instructions and where the holes are located to correctly assemble it. Once it is all out together it is pretty tough and should hold up to long term usage. For the price it was a good purchase.

I bought the shed because I’m on a budget and as they say you get what you pay for. Having said that once it was finished, I realized it will serve the purpose I had intended for it. How well is another story? I’d be shocked if this thing doesn’t leak because none of the pieces fit together flush, even though I tried pending them into position. Build was tedious. The parts are cheap and flimsy and I cut two of my fingers pulling apart the thin metal sheets. The worst part of the build was the roof and doors. My one word of advice would be to put all the washes on the screws before you start building the shed because putting each washer on each screw before you put it into position and install it in is a nightmare. I did it by myself and it took me one afternoon and a few hours the following morning. Like I said it does serve the purpose but if you’re gonna live with it being a flimsy shed, you’ll be fine. Also, you absolutely must bolt it down to whatever platform you’re putting it on for the wind will take it and it’ll be a pile of junk.

It’s a great product for the money, I’m a contractor so I had no issues putting together or lining up holes. I could see how someone would, the metal is easily bent and feels cheap but when it all goes together it becomes very sturdy. All in all if you want a great price shed and are willing to provide a little sweat equity it’s a great buy. If you want a perfect heavy gauge shed then go buy 1 for a few grand because this isn’t for you, although it does look like a nice expensive shed when assembled. Just look at my photos and you’ll see it comes in pieces, you have to put everything together and it is time consuming, it will not be a 15 minute or even 2 hour project, it will take time. I completely assembled by myself and it wasn’t that bad at all but I also build things for a living, so do with that what you will.

Instructions are clear and pretty easy to follow. Build quality is somewhat cheap; paper thin sheet metal so you have to be careful drilling in the screws. I also highly recommend you have a level, solid base/ solid wood base to build on top of otherwise I can see the build going south. Mostly everything lined up with very little maneuvering or tweaking. And all the parts are clearly labeled. My only real “gripe” with it is how thin and flimsy the sheet metal is. And the sheet metal is also VERY sharp, you can easily cut yourself on this while assembling (ask me how I know:sweat_smile:) but overall, it’s good, it deserves 4 stars if properly built and instructions are followed. Not a bad price either.

I think this is a real nice shed for the price. The metal on all metal sheds seems to have gotten thinner over the years (shrinkflation?) but it is still adequate if you don't abuse. I view it more as a metal tent than a structure. Went up easy for me, I did it by myself in a day, probably about 7 hours. I read the manual the night before and put the steps to memory so that I wouldn't have to go back and forth to the manual for assembly. I did site prep first with a wood platform which made it go together easy. I recommend this shed, but might be difficult to assemble if you're not handy or haven't done something like this before. But as for me, I'm quite pleased with it, nice storage for my mower and garden tools now. I did build racks for my tools, this shed is not sturdy enough to just lean them up inside.

Not the building for tornado alley, occasional high winds or any severe weather in the midwest. Flimsy design and thin metal panels. There are a million+ tiny screws and the opening wasn’t big enough for the riding lawn mower so we had to take the doors off. Not worth the money. Do your homework before you buy. Find a way to anchor it. And it’s only 290 lbs completely assembled.

They state a days work for 2 people. @ days for 1 but I'm retired and had the time. Well worth the $$$. Similar plastic sheds a 5x's as much. This unit is galvanized so no rust worries. I poured a slab for my foundation which simplifies initial construction of the shed.

The shed arrived promptly and well packaged. It’s a little heavy but a good size to make it easy to move with one or two people. I’m always amazed by modern packing solutions to be able to ship a metal shed that is 6’X4’. The size is convenient to fit a lot of yard tools and still be able to fit under our deck. It has a good solid metal frame and stainless steel hinges and lock. With those features and the sloped metal roof, it should be able to stand up to the outdoor weather conditions. All of the hardware including the screws are good quality for outdoor use and the ability to lock it provides peace of mind security. So far assembly has been easy with the clear instructions. The only reason I haven’t finished is because of two young kids that insist on “helping”

I also like that the doors can be secured with a padlock for added peace of mind. Assembly took longer than I initially expected, and having a second person definitely made the process easier. The instructions were clear overall, but there are a lot of parts, so I definitely recommend setting aside a few hours. Once everything was put together, though, the result was worth the effort. Overall, this shed offers excellent value for the price. It's durable, functional, and provides plenty of storage space without taking up too much room in the yard. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable outdoor storage solution.

The package arrived and it was quite heavy, so you might need help just moving it. As for the assembly, it definitely requires two people. The instruction manual explicitly lists the tools needed, and I highly recommend following its advice: you absolutely need a power screwdriver and a drill for making holes. If you don't have these power tools, the installation will be extremely tiring and difficult. It took two of us a full afternoon to complete the setup. On the bright side, the instructions are very clear—every single piece of material and type of screw is clearly labeled and numbered, so it's impossible to mix them up. The quality of the materials is actually quite good, especially considering the very reasonable price point. At first, I thought the dimensions looked a bit small, but it turned out to be spacious enough for my needs. It easily fits all my garden essentials, including fertilizer, soil bags, and various small tools. Once fully assembled, it looks great, feels sturdy, and gives you a wonderful sense of accomplishment. Highly recommended if you have the right tools and a helping hand!
