I purchased this product back in October and it was great l am very happy that l chose this gazebo/roof for my back patio and l would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for inexpensive roof for patios or similar.
The build was easy enough. The brochure can use some improvement in detailing some hidden views. All screws went in except two. For $899, I can't complain. Still pretty nice looking patio pergola. The cover is somewhat opaque allowing dimmed sunlight to shine through. That can be easily remedied with tarp fabrics. The structure is fairly light and the straightness of the posts and interconnections requires attention and efforts.
Great price very strong
I needed this for sun protection as well as a dry spot when it rains. It did arrive damaged but customer service was excellent and sent an entire new replacement that was in perfect condition. I'm a senior so I hired someone and that cost $600 (5 hours 2 guys). Very happy with it.

Very nice. Could be better if the front poles were alittle higher. Like the slant so won't accumulate water. Nice shade. Sturdy but it does make a cracking sound when there's high winds. It's been a year. No issues with poles, screws, or the panels.
I'm giving this product 4 stars, but only because the dimensions were not clearly defined in the specifications shown in the advertisement, leading to an issue I could have avoided. My son assembled the gazebo in just a day, which was impressive, but we had to purchase stepping stones to raise the height, and even then, the clearance is still inadequate. The overall height falls just a few inches short of clearing my door opening and window header.
The gazebo itself seems well-constructed and made of quality materials. If I could secure it properly to my patio, it would have been an excellent purchase.
I reached out to the company, and their customer service has been responsive and easy to work with. They even offered me $40 as compensation to keep the gazebo, but money doesn't address the clearance issue. Unfortunately, I don't have another location where the gazebo would fit. While the issue remains unresolved, I appreciate the company's willingness to communicate and their efforts to assist.
We've been wanting to get a cover over our patio for years but couldn't find the money to hire a contractor. This is MUCH cheaper and my family put it together in a half a day.
We used large plant pots filled with gravel on each leg to hold it down. I picked up steel flashing from HD and attached them to the bottom of the legs, put the legs down into the pots and then covered each with pea gravel.
We anchored the rear legs to the house but we couldn't attach the top rail to the house because the holes were drilled incorrectly on the rail.
We then ran plastic led lighting underneath and out into the yard (also purchased on Amazon), and lastly, we found a hanging outdoor patio heater, because it's too low for the big standing ones they sell.
Overall, I'm super happy with the purchase. Our outdoor space gets used way more now and is super cozy.
I will stay, you HAVE to attach it to the home or it will wobble. If you're a renter, you might have to get really creative to avoid that.
We get quite a bit of wind through the backyard due to the way the house in our neighborhood are lined up, but so far so good. We'll see what happens when the Texas spring brings its wind, rain, and lightning.
During heavy rains, we have seen quite a bit of leaking through some of the screws. I plan to add some black caulking to those areas when I get off my backside and do it.
I had read reviews that this awning could actually take some pretty decent snow loads without collapsing. I found that pretty hard to believe after I assembled it.
Fwiw, the instructions leave a lot to be desired but I was able to do it myself in less than one day. So I had a couple parts left over, big deal.
Anyhow the pictures that I have posted are the awning being propped up after bending in the center or bowing..... Under the incredible weight of 5 INCHES of HEAVY, WET snow!
This storm was a surprise and I was in no way ready to have this kind of load on this roof. And yet, this thing took it like a champ! Yes it bowed under the weight and what roof wouldn't especially with this type of lightweight construction?
As you can see in the pictures I did prop it up just in case, and then the other picture you can see the space after the snow was gone which shows exactly how much it did now.
Then I decided to go ahead and just make a brace for the rest of the winter, I'm fairly confident it'll be able to handle just about anything, not trying to jinx it!
So if you're anything like average snow in the Northeast and nothing crazy, probably be okay. I have been pleasantly surprised and even astounded at what this thing could do.
I would definitely recommend, and buy again. In fact I might just do that and put one away for when this thing actually does wear out.
If I did actually have one suggestion I would suggest that they make the center load bearing beam the same size as the high beam which also bowed slightly.
I'm so impressed by this and would have been giving it a five star rating at it not been for difficulty in assembling and understanding instructions.
This is good pergola, easy to assemble. Was able to do it myself for most part. Only place you need second person or a bench is to connect final legs to make it tall.
Perfect balance of shade and light.
It's not free standing so it does need to be mounted to wall.
It will take two people to get it put together
The frame is strong, we have gotten a lot of compliments. Definitely worth it!
This is a great addition over my 10 x 10 slab that I had added t my patio. It blocks out sun well, and is sturdy. The absolutely love it!
The covering is beautiful. We love it. It was a pain to put together but not impossible. My husband and son did the biggest part and I helped some. But the main issue was squaring it up so the sheets would slide in. My patio deck unfortunately was not level so it was a struggle. Decent quality and aesthetically looking nice. We are curious as to how it will hold up to the weather. Only time will tell.
So far I love this thing. I get early morning to late afternoon sun and it just berms into my living room. Wish I would have purchased it sooner. I already shared link with family and they will be purchasing one soon.
It's really not hard to put together, but it would've helped a lot more if they were better instructions. We put some video on here to show how we put it together and hopefully could help somebody else but in the beginning, we did not make videos so that you'll be on your own.
We just had 55 mile winds , held up great
Small pergolas are hard to find .its a great find !
Enjoyed the installation process, the size is just right for my deck, it's not hot in the summer anymore sitting outside.
Absolutely recommended! Make sure you measure your space. It was perfect for us and we ended buying two and planning on buying the third one to be able to cover the whole patio we didn't install the back posts, instead anchored to the actual roof and it looks perfect! We had a strong sand storm (strong" for Southern California) and it didn't budge! We love it!
We have a VERY open backyard, it's beautiful and my garden LOVES it! But the sun can be a lot at times.
This is PERFECT!
We went with the bigger option 10x14.
It definitely would be easier if 2 people put it together, I did the entire top of it myself then had my husband help to put the legs on.
It came in 2 boxes, 1 was the panels and the other was the framethat was the heavy one.
I got mine together in 3 days, I was working for 2 of the days so it was worked on a little after work.
We added solar panels to the top corner for our duck hut and we have solar lights that we strung and affixed the panel to a different corner.
The house we are in, we are renting, so I didn't want to attach it to the wall or ground. I used pots and sand (I didn't want to scratch the metal with rocks) and put some dirt on top so I can put some flowers in them next year.
Anchoring it would definitely help the stability but we raised the front a couple inches with square pavers to push the back side closer to the wall. We used play sand, as it is finer sand and sort of hardens when wet. So far it's pretty sturdy.
It definitely came out better than I had envisioned and I LOVE just sitting out there with the ducks.
For the price you cannot go wrong! Total height is 104". We had to adjust to fit 102" but it works well so far. Only thing I wish it had is a piece on the side at the angle to fill that slant in.
This patio is great. It boasts a huge 10' x 14' area, relatively easy to set up at a fraction of the cost of an aluminum patio.
There are two boxes all the parts required are complete. Installation is not hard the instructions were generally good. However, orientation is not well defined, so I had to redo a couple of steps. Due to the large size, assembly is better if you have 2 people. But I did it myself in about half a day. I also recommend using a power screwdriver, there are a lot of screws.
It is designed to be fastened to a wall, so it doesn't free stand well. So far it hasn't rained yet so I can't assess leakage yet.
Overall it looks great and very affordable compared to the $20k patio I had contractors install. Although for $20k it was 3 times this size .
I really love it so much!! It's very valuable. I have quoted with several companies, they all asked about five time more then purchase price. I very glad that I bought this, it have QR code to watch the video and the manual book, very clear instructions and easy to assemble. We have stone patio, it takes a little longer for us to dig the hole. It's very heavy, make sure you have at least two people to install it! Love it!
